Walmer Care Centre

Walmer Care Centre provides accommodation and personal care for older people and those living with dementia across two connected buildings, with capacity for 37 residents. At the time of inspection, 26 people were living at the service.

The centre implemented effective infection control measures by requiring visits by appointment only and creating a dedicated visitor pod outside the building where relatives could visit safely through windows without entering the service itself. Staff supported residents in maintaining family connections by helping them send video messages to loved ones.
