Rotherview

Rotherview is a residential care home providing support to a small number of people with a learning disability and autistic people. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding that people were treated with dignity and supported to be independent, access activities and stay involved in their care planning. Relatives spoke positively, describing staff as kind and the home as well run.

Inspectors did identify areas needing improvement, including how mental capacity was considered around finances and medicines, some unmanaged risks, and weak oversight of water temperature checks and financial safeguarding. Auditing systems needed strengthening, and staff described low morale, though managers were aware and committed to addressing this.
