Following a previous rating of requires improvement, the CQC found the service had improved and is now rated good overall, meeting expectations around safety, effectiveness, care, responsiveness and leadership.

Inspectors found people were safeguarded, supported by enough suitably qualified staff, and helped to pursue goals and community activities with choice and independence. Minor improvements were needed in monitoring incident trends, décor, and evidencing continuous improvement, though these had no impact on people. Feedback from people and relatives was largely positive, describing kind, compassionate staff and a warm, welcoming home.
