About Rose House

Rose House is a residential care home in Medway, providing support for autistic people and people with a learning disability. Details of the most recent CQC findings are set out below.

Rose House is a residential care home supporting up to 16 people, including autistic people and people with a learning disability. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding kind, attentive staff who had built strong relationships with residents and families. People said they felt safe and well cared for.

Inspectors found some care plans were not accessible to people with communication needs, and opportunities to promote independence were sometimes missed. Staffing levels occasionally limited outings, and bespoke training on specific conditions was needed. The home was clean, medicines were managed safely, and the service was well-led, with concerns raised acted upon immediately.
