Star Care Lodge

Star Care Lodge provides personal and nursing care to up to 13 people aged 18 and over with mental health needs in a single adapted building. Residents have their own bedrooms, some with en-suite bathrooms, and access to shared communal spaces including lounges and dining areas.

The service maintains sufficient staffing levels to support residents according to their assessed needs, including accompanying people on outings. Staff carefully manage individual risks while promoting independence, with some residents requiring additional support to stay safe. Staff demonstrate clear understanding of their safeguarding responsibilities and work to help residents understand how to protect themselves from abuse.
