Rokewood Court

Rokewood Court is a residential care home in Croydon providing personal care to up to 64 older people, including those living with dementia. The CQC carried out this inspection after high manager turnover and a rise in safeguarding referrals, but rated the home good overall. Inspectors found staff kind and skilled, risks well managed, and a significant reduction in falls and pressure injuries following targeted improvements.

The home was without a registered manager at the time, though a new manager had applied to register and was supported by two deputies. Staff felt valued and supported, and people spoke highly of the care they received. Managers had strong oversight, worked well with external professionals, and fostered a culture where people felt able to speak up.
