Acorn House - Croydon

Acorn House in Croydon is a residential care home for up to 31 older people, many living with dementia, and does not provide nursing care. The CQC found the service had improved since its previous rating and now meets expectations across the board, with an overall rating of good.

Inspectors found staff worked well with health professionals, followed the Mental Capacity Act, and supported people with meals and wellbeing. Leaders were visible and approachable, and people and relatives spoke warmly of the care and support they received.
