Riversdale Nursing Home

Riversdale Nursing Home provides personal care and accommodation for up to 40 older people and those living with dementia across three floors. At inspection, 22 people were using the service. Residents and family members reported feeling safe, with one person stating "I feel safe here. Staff are nice to me" and a relative noting "We are not worried about anything here, she is safe."

Staff created a warm, friendly atmosphere where people felt relaxed and comfortable with positive relationships evident. The home maintained effective safeguarding practices and risk management systems, including regular checks of the building, environment and equipment. The premises were clean and the provider supported infection control measures to protect residents.
