Ridgeway House

Ridgeway House provides accommodation and personal care for up to seven people with a learning disability. The home was clean and tidy throughout, with additional cleaning tasks included on daily schedules to ensure all touch-points were sanitised. The manager and deputy manager completed frequent walk-arounds to monitor cleanliness and ensure staff were following good practice.

The home had strict procedures in place for visitors, with staff temperature checks and PPE requirements at entry. Health and Social Care visitors with recent negative COVID-19 results followed the same entry procedures, while other visitors underwent lateral flow testing in a designated waiting area in the back garden. Families and friends had been informed about these visiting arrangements and the procedures they needed to follow.
