Urmston House is a purpose-built care home providing accommodation for up to six people with learning difficulties, sensory impairment and autistic people. Each resident has their own self-contained ground floor apartment with an ensuite and kitchen facilities. At inspection, all six available spaces were occupied.

Visitors reported feeling confident about safety measures at the home, with staff implementing health screening including temperature checks, PPE requirements, and contact tracing. Three relatives spoken with were very complimentary about the quality of care and support provided. They felt their loved ones were safe and praised how staff and the registered manager had maintained regular contact with families throughout the pandemic, managing this period effectively.
