Radcliffe Manor House

Radcliffe Manor House, in Nottinghamshire, provides personal care and support to older people, with capacity for up to 26 people across two floors and extensive gardens. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall. The home has recently come out of Special Measures, with inspectors noting genuine improvements since the last assessment, though a breach relating to good governance remained, as changes still needed to be fully embedded.

Inspectors found staff were kind, caring and treated people with dignity, managing medicines safely and responding promptly to people's needs. Staffing levels were adequate and safeguarding was handled well. Care plans were found to be out of date, though staff knew people well and one-page profiles were used in the meantime, with a review of all plans underway.
