Quiet Waters

Quiet Waters provides accommodation and personal care for up to six people with a learning disability. The service occupies a residential property that blends in with the surrounding neighbourhood. At inspection, five people were living there.

The premises maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, with cleaning schedules in place including for frequently touched surfaces. Personal protective equipment and handwashing facilities are readily available to staff, and pictorial guidance is displayed at sinks to help people follow hygiene procedures. The registered manager prioritises staff well-being and has completed risk assessments across all aspects of the service. People are supported to maintain family contact through garden visits, telephone calls and electronic devices. They continue to receive one-to-one support and activities, with opportunities to access the community for walks.
