Evelyn May House

Evelyn May House provides personal care and accommodation for up to 59 people, with 56 residents using the service at the time of inspection. The service does not provide nursing care.

Residents and relatives reported positive experiences overall. One relative praised staff, saying "Staff are amazing so happy and patient in their work," while a resident commented, "I have met some lovely people here. I enjoy knitting and being up and about with my friends."

However, inspectors found that care plan documentation did not always contain sufficient information for staff to support people safely. Some records lacked the detail needed to provide person-centred care, and where information was available in care records, it was not consistently followed by staff.
