Oaklands (Essex)

Oaklands provides personal and nursing care for up to 55 older people aged 65 and over, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 15 people were living at the service in a single adapted building.

People told inspectors they were safe and liked living at Oaklands. Staff demonstrated good relationships with residents and had strong understanding of their individual needs and care requirements. Suitable arrangements were in place to protect people from harm and abuse, with risks properly identified and recorded to ensure safety and wellbeing. Recruitment practices were robust.
