Princess Louise Kensington Nursing Home

Princess Louise Kensington Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 44 older people, including those living with dementia and people requiring treatment for disease, disorder, or injury. At inspection, 43 people were using the service, accommodated across one building over three floors with two units per floor. The ground floor units specialise in dementia care.

Staff supported people to have maximum choice and control of their lives, using the least restrictive practices and acting in people's best interests. The service's policies and systems supported this approach, with staff communicating in ways that met individual needs and supporting people to make decisions in line with best practice.
