Forrester Court

Forrester Court is a nursing home providing personal and nursing care for up to 113 older people, including some living with dementia. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding people were kept safe, treated with kindness and respect, and supported to make choices about their care. Staff understood the Mental Capacity Act and worked to promote independence and dignity.

Inspectors found some shortfalls in how medicines were managed and administered, though the registered manager acted quickly to address these during the assessment. Care plans were personalised and regularly reviewed, complaints were handled well, and people described the home as well managed, with several praising recent improvements under the current manager.
