Pine Martin Grange

Pine Martin Grange provides residential nursing and personal care for up to 64 older adults, including those living with dementia. The purpose-built home is equipped with specialist facilities designed to maximise people's independence and meet their support needs. At inspection, 55 people were using the service.

Staff numbers were adequate and safely recruited, with the skills and experience needed to support residents effectively. People felt safe, and staff understood how to recognise and act on concerns about abuse or poor practice. Medicines were managed safely, and risks were regularly assessed and reviewed. Staff knew residents well and understood how to mitigate harm while respecting their rights and freedoms. Infection prevention and control processes aligned with government guidance.

People, their families and staff consistently praised the management, open culture, teamwork and visible leadership at the home. Staff felt involved in the service, listened to and appreciated, with clarity about their roles.
