Philips Court

Philips Court provides accommodation, nursing and personal care for up to 75 people, including those with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, dementia or mental health conditions. The assessment followed concerns about care, staffing, nutrition and infection control, but inspectors found no evidence that people had been placed at risk.

The CQC found people were kept safe, with enough trained staff, safe medicines management and good infection control practices in place. Care was person-centred, kind and respectful, and people were supported to make choices and stay independent. Feedback from people, relatives and staff was consistently positive, and the service was found to be well led with effective quality assurance in place.
