Primrose House

Primrose House provides personal and nursing care to up to 65 older people, including those living with dementia and enduring mental health conditions. At inspection, 40 people were using the service. People, relatives and staff reported that the home had improved since the last inspection, with better opportunities for sharing views and feedback. Staff noted improved morale, teamwork and atmosphere.

The home has introduced a more structured quality assurance approach, though some audits haven't been completed consistently. Management reviews audit findings, but the system needs deeper analysis to ensure lessons are learned from incidents, safeguarding concerns and complaints. Medicines are managed well, though staff records supporting their safe use require improvement.
