About Paternoster House

Paternoster House is a nursing care home in Essex, offering a place where residents can feel genuinely at home while receiving the support they need. The team there understands how much it means to families to find somewhere they can trust with the care of a loved one, and that commitment to doing things well runs through everything they do. If you are exploring care options in the Essex area, Paternoster House is well worth getting to know.

Paternoster House is a purpose-built residential care home providing personal care and nursing for up to 108 people across four separate units. At the time of inspection, 67 people were living at the home. The home maintained sufficient stocks of personal protective equipment, which staff used appropriately, and staff had undertaken training in infection control.

Cleaning schedules were increased to ensure high touch surfaces such as door handles and light switches were cleaned regularly, with additional cleaning introduced to maintain good hygiene standards. The home arranged regular contact exchanges between residents and their family and friends.
