Kingfisher Nursing Home

Kingfisher Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 22 people. At the time of inspection, 20 people were living at the service. The home had implemented clear infection control procedures for visitors, including temperature checks, PPE provision, and alcohol gel availability. Staff displayed guidance on proper PPE use throughout the building.

The service arranged pre-scheduled visits for residents and families in an adapted communal lounge, with timings arranged to minimise infection transmission risks. All visitors completed rapid COVID-19 tests with appropriate guidance and protective equipment provided. Staff maintained social distancing and adhered to protective measures consistently, and the service was maintained to a clean and hygienic standard.
