About Albany Park Nursing Home

Albany Park Nursing Home brings dedicated nursing care to the community of Enfield, offering families in the area a local option when looking for support for their loved ones. The team there understands how significant this decision can be, and works to ensure residents feel at home in familiar surroundings close to the people who matter most to them.

Albany Park Nursing Home accommodates up to 47 people aged 65 and over, including those living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 45 people were living at the home. The premises were not maintained to a standard that promoted a good atmosphere, with significant issues identified around maintenance that auditing processes had failed to catch.

The home had previously imposed restrictions on visiting that required relatives to call and make one-hour appointment slots, though the manager confirmed this practice was no longer in place.

People had clear risk assessments that guided staff on minimizing risks, and staff demonstrated effective knowledge of how to keep people safe. Residents received their medicines safely and on time.
