Broxbourne Nursing Home

Broxbourne Nursing Home is a purpose-built residential care home providing personal and nursing care to up to 77 older people, some of whom live with dementia. At inspection, 26 people were using the service. The home has made improvements since the last inspection, with work completed to strengthen risk management and governance systems. People, relatives and staff confirmed they felt there had been meaningful improvements and that they felt safe at the service.

The management team has addressed concerns identified during inspection regarding 'as needed' medicines, dietary management for people with specific health needs, and checks on pressure care mattresses. Staff have implemented robust systems to ensure these improvements are sustainable. People and their relatives expressed satisfaction with the quality of care provided and reported feeling well supported at the home.
