Parkview Gardens provides accommodation and personal care for up to 60 older people, including those living with dementia and those with sensory impairment or physical disability. The purpose-built home spans two floors arranged as five separate 'houses', each with communal spaces, dining areas and cooking facilities. At inspection, 39 people were living in the home.

The service is now operated by Westmorland and Furness Council following local government reorganisation, having previously been run by Cumbria County Council.
