Parkfield House Nursing Home

Parkfield House provides accommodation with nursing care for up to 44 older people in a purpose-built three-storey building. At inspection, 40 people were living there, with those needing nursing care on the ground floor and people living with dementia on the first floor. Staff were extremely responsive to individual needs and knew residents well, supporting them to achieve their wishes through spending time listening to them. A dedicated wellbeing team led a wide range of meaningful activities, with residents consulted about what they wanted to do and reporting they were very happy with the activities offered. The registered manager led a hard-working team committed to meeting people's individual needs and improving their quality of life.
