Clare House Care Home

Clare House Care Home provides nursing care for up to 40 older people, with 35 people living there at the time of the assessment. The CQC found the service continues to be rated good. Staff kept people safe, managed risks well and ensured medicines were given correctly, and the home was clean and well maintained with enough trained staff on duty.

Inspectors found care was personalised, with staff who knew people well and supported their independence and choices. People and relatives spoke positively, describing kind staff and a family atmosphere. Managers were experienced, approachable and responsive to feedback, and regular audits helped drive ongoing improvements.
