Park Hall

Park Hall provides personal care to up to 60 adults and older people, including those with dementia, accommodated across two floors of an adapted building. At inspection, 58 people were using the service. Staff were preventing infections effectively and visitors were supported to visit safely. People and their relatives felt safe and protected from abuse, with enough safely recruited and suitably trained staff in place. Building safety checks were completed and medicines were generally managed safely, though some 'as and when' protocols required additional detail. The service learned lessons when things went wrong. However, quality assurance systems were not robust enough, and people did not always have health-specific risk assessments in place to ensure their individual needs were properly identified and managed.
