Marrow House

Marrow House provides personal care to up to 21 people aged 65 and over, with 16 assessment and therapy beds and five residential support beds. At the time of inspection, 17 people were using the service. Residents felt safe and reported receiving their medicines properly. The provider assessed risks and protected people from potential abuse, with medicines managed safely and sufficient staff recruited securely. The environment was clean and staff wore appropriate personal protective equipment to prevent cross infection.

People's needs were assessed before admission to ensure the service could meet their requirements. Residents liked the food provided, and the service maintained their nutritional and hydration needs effectively. Staff felt supported in their roles and received training. People had timely access to healthcare, and staff worked collaboratively with other agencies to deliver effective care.
