About Orchard House

Orchard House is a residential care home in Nottinghamshire, providing accommodation and support for older people, including those living with dementia. Further details from the Care Quality Commission's most recent inspection are set out below.

Orchard House is a residential care home accommodating up to 50 older people, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 33 residents were living at the service across two floors with communal dining and relaxation spaces. During a COVID-19 outbreak at the time of inspection, the home maintained visiting arrangements to help residents stay connected with family and friends through outdoor heated summerhouses and a designated indoor room, with appropriate testing procedures in place.

Staff received adequate PPE supplies and training in infection control, with regular spot checks ensuring staff followed best practice guidance. Clear signage informed visitors of the outbreak status.
