Oak House

Oak House accommodates up to 26 older people, including those living with dementia and physical frailty. At inspection, 25 residents were living at the service.

While people and relatives spoke positively about the support provided, inspectors identified areas needing improvement. The systems for administering medicines safely were ineffective. Residents did not always receive their 'as required' medicines, necessary protocols were not consistently in place for staff to follow, and staff did not consistently record when topical medicines had been applied.
