Norwood Green Care Home

Norwood Green Care Home, in Ealing, provides care and nursing for up to 92 people, including those living with dementia, mental health needs, and younger adults, and was caring for 86 people at the time of the assessment. The CQC rated the home Good overall. Inspectors found staff were kind, attentive and respectful, and people felt safe, supported and involved in decisions about their care.

Care was mostly delivered in line with good practice, with staff working well together and with outside professionals to support people's health. Mealtime experiences were mixed, with some people needing more proactive encouragement than they consistently received. Leaders had solid governance systems in place and were open to feedback, taking action to strengthen oversight during and after the assessment.
