LD Care

LD Care is a home for up to nine adults with learning disabilities, some of whom also have additional physical disabilities and autism. The service is managed by LD Care Limited, a private organisation operating four registered care homes across the London Boroughs of Hounslow and Richmond upon Thames. At the time of inspection, nine young adults were living at the service.

Staff supported people to have maximum possible choice, control and independence, using personalised communication strategies to help people understand and make choices. The team found creative ways to promote learning and develop new skills, focusing on people's strengths so they could have fulfilling and meaningful lives. Staff saw people as individuals and planned care according to their personalities and interests.
