13 Alexandra Gardens is a care home without nursing for up to 12 adults with a learning disability. The CQC rated the service good, a drop from its previous outstanding rating. Inspectors found staff built good relationships with people, supported healthcare needs well, and had enough staff to keep people safe, though some medicines storage and repairs needed attention.

The CQC found staff did not always use age appropriate language, and people were not always supported to build independence or work towards personal goals. Feedback from relatives was mixed, with some concerned about diet, activities and feeling insufficiently informed. Managers agreed to address these concerns.
