About Nightingale Nursing Home

Nightingale Nursing Home is a nursing home in West Sussex providing care for older people and those living with dementia. Details from the most recent CQC inspection are set out below.

This 35-bed nursing home cares for older people and those living with dementia across three floors, with two communal lounges and an accessible garden. At inspection, 22 people were resident at the service. Staff received comprehensive training in infection and prevention control, including practical sessions on using personal protective equipment correctly, with reinforcement through regular spot checks and supervision.

The service proactively reviewed staffing needs early in the pandemic to ensure sufficient coverage, which helped maintain continuity of care for residents. The home met all requirements for regular COVID-19 testing of both staff and residents.
