Newfield Lodge provides personal care for up to 64 people aged 65 and over across four separate units, two of which specialise in dementia care. During the inspection, 54 people were using the service.

The home maintained strong infection control measures, requiring visitors to produce negative lateral flow test results, undergo temperature screening, and wear personal protective equipment. Professionals were required to provide evidence of vaccination status via the NHS app or COVID pass. People's visiting rights were maintained throughout, with alternatives to face-to-face visits explored to support residents' connections with loved ones.
