Mount Tryon

Mount Tryon is a care home providing accommodation and support for up to 59 older people, including those living with dementia. The CQC found the service had addressed previous breaches around risk management and governance, and now met expectations. Staffing levels were safe, medicines were managed properly, and mental capacity assessments were handled appropriately, with decisions made in people's best interests where needed.

Inspectors found staff were kind, respectful and unhurried, giving people time and attention. Residents and relatives spoke positively about the care and leadership, praising the registered manager's improvements. Quality assurance systems were now effective, and the provider offered good support to the management team.
