Mount Tryon

Mount Tryon is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to older people, some living with dementia. At inspection, 34 people were using the service out of a capacity of 59.

Inspectors found that governance systems and processes were not effectively assessing, monitoring and mitigating risks relating to health, safety and welfare. These issues had persisted since the previous inspection. Quality and safety monitoring processes had failed to identify the problems discovered during this inspection, indicating that systems to assess and improve the service were not operating effectively.
