Lincombe Manor

Lincombe Manor is a care home with nursing registered for 48 people across two buildings: a purpose-built nursing home for 40 people and Hewitt Lodge, an 8-bed unit providing intermediate care to help people return to independence following illness or hospital stays. Staff work with physiotherapists and occupational therapists to support residents in returning home.

The home demonstrates strong infection control practices with personal protective equipment readily available at entrances, dedicated handwashing stations, and temperature checks for staff and visitors on arrival. A booking system manages visitor access with staggered times and lateral flow testing, while a designated visiting pod and alternative contact methods including video calls, telephone contact and garden visits maintain resident connections. All clinically extremely vulnerable people are identified with appropriate care plans in place.
