Carisbrooke Nursing Home

Carisbrooke Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to older people, with capacity for up to 25 residents. At inspection, 16 people were using the service. Residents told inspectors they were well cared for, describing staff as kind, friendly and good humoured. People said they felt safe and enjoyed living at the home.

However, inspectors found that emotional and social care needs were not being adequately met. While residents reported receiving good support with their physical care, they said they lacked opportunities to participate in activities and were often left to entertain themselves.
