Moss View

Moss View provides personal and nursing care to 50 people aged 65 and over, with capacity for up to 75 residents. Care records were not always completed or well organised, creating risks of unsafe care. People with specific dietary needs, such as those requiring diabetic or high protein diets, did not consistently have food and fluid charts in place to monitor their intake. Staff reported concerns about staffing levels and their ability to support people safely, though rotas and dependency assessments indicated consistent staffing across units. Following inspection feedback, the provider was reassessing staffing arrangements.

Medication management was mostly safe, with issues identified during inspection being rectified immediately. Residents had risk assessments covering most aspects of their care and support. The service maintained adequate personal protective equipment supplies and demonstrated strong systems for recording and analysing incidents and accidents.
