Moss View

Moss View is a nursing home providing care and support to older people living with dementia and nursing needs. The CQC found the service is now Good overall, having resolved a previous breach relating to governance and records. Records and risk assessments were in order, staffing levels and skills were sufficient, and medicines were managed safely.

People described staff as kind and said they felt safe.

Some areas still needed development, including personalising care plans and addressing dementia unit decoration and layout concerns, which the provider was already working on. Diverse needs were mostly well catered for, though feedback was mixed in places. Leadership was found to be visible, knowledgeable and supportive, with clear governance systems in place.
