Christopher Grange Rhona House

Christopher Grange Rhona House is a residential care home in Liverpool providing personal and nursing care for up to 28 people, including some living with dementia. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, following concerns about cleanliness and safety. Inspectors found breaches relating to safe care and treatment and to good governance, with unsafe aspects of medicines management, incomplete risk assessments and care plans, and weak oversight of accidents and incidents.

On a more positive note, inspectors found people were supported to access healthcare, and staff were kind, respectful and attentive. Most residents and families spoke positively about care, though activities were not always available for people cared for in bed. The management team was open and receptive to feedback, and committed to making the improvements needed.
