Millbeck

Millbeck is a residential care home providing care and accommodation for up to 30 older people, including those living with dementia. The home is situated over two floors in its own grounds and was at full capacity during inspection with 30 residents.

The home demonstrated good practice in several areas. Face-to-face visits had resumed, and staff had access to sufficient supplies of personal protective equipment stored hygienically throughout the home. Alcohol gel stations were positioned accessibly around the premises, and hand washing facilities were available for staff. Staff followed national guidance on correctly putting on, taking off, and disposing of PPE safely.
