Willow View Care Home

Willow View Care Home provides personal care to up to 77 older people, some living with dementia, physical disability or sensory impairment. The service operates across two connected areas, Willow View and Willow Gardens, each comprising two floors. At inspection, 42 people were resident at the home.

While risk assessments were in place, they had not always been updated when changes occurred and some care plans contained contradictory information. Environmental risks had not always been identified and mitigated, and inspectors found call bells that were inaccessible to some people. New recruitment processes had been introduced but were not consistently followed, with gaps remaining in recruitment records. Medicine management had improved, though records did not always reflect prescriber instructions.
