Cherry Tree Care Centre

Cherry Tree Care Centre provides personal care for up to 42 older people, some of whom live with dementia. The CQC rated the home Good overall, an improvement on its previous requires improvement rating, having found that earlier breaches around risk, medicines and quality assurance had since been addressed.

Inspectors found care plans reflected people's needs, staff were well trained and supported, and interactions were kind and respectful. People and relatives felt safe, informed and involved in decisions. Governance had improved, though the CQC noted quality audits and staff communication could still be more consistently embedded.
