Beechwood House

Beechwood House, in Stockton-on-Tees, provides personal care for up to five people with learning disabilities or autistic people. The CQC rated the service good overall, finding that improvements made since the last inspection meant it was no longer in breach of regulations around the Mental Capacity Act, with stronger quality monitoring now in place.

Inspectors found a caring, inclusive culture, with staff supporting people to build independence and take part in community life, including LGBTQ+ and Pride events. People and relatives praised staff as kind and attentive, felt safe and listened to, and said they were encouraged to make their own decisions and raise concerns confidently.
