Maple View

Maple View is a residential care home supporting up to five autistic people and adults with a learning disability. At the time of the assessment, four people were living there, cared for by staff who knew them well and worked positively with healthcare professionals to manage risks.

The CQC found the home was meeting the standards expected for people with a learning disability and autistic people, rating it Good overall. However, well-led practice required improvement: an interim manager was stretched across several services, medicines processes needed work, staffing consistency was an issue, and a safeguarding concern was being investigated. Most relatives spoken to were happy, though one raised concerns that were passed to senior staff.
