Layden Court Care Home

Layden Court is a care home that accommodates up to 92 people in a purpose-built setting, providing personal and nursing care for older people, including those living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 49 people were using the service.

Inspectors found significant safety concerns. Risk assessments related to people's care were not consistently completed or documented, and care records did not accurately reflect residents' needs. Guidance for staff on managing identified risks was often lacking. Incidents and accidents were not recorded in sufficient detail or properly investigated to prevent future occurrences. Issues were also identified with medicines management processes.
