Waterside Grange

Waterside Grange accommodates up to 83 people, with 58 residents at the time of inspection. The home provides personal and nursing care to its service users.

Quality monitoring systems existed but were not always effective in identifying areas for improvement. Inspectors found infection control shortfalls, particularly in kitchenette areas, along with inadequate fridge temperature monitoring. There were also concerns about unsafe management of weight loss risks among residents. The mealtime experience for people living with dementia was identified as poor during the inspection.

Following the inspection, the registered manager took action to address these concerns, though some new issues emerged that required further attention.
