" Staff are appropriately recruited, trained and inducted, and they follow individual medication care plans while respecting residents' preferences, including those who wish to self-administer. One person noted, "I was glad they agreed [for me to self-administer].

I know they're taking a risk, but they trust me and it means I can keep my independence.

The home has clear communication systems to help staff understand their responsibilities for residents' safety and wellbeing. Management actively seeks feedback from staff, professionals, residents and relatives about care delivery and service development. A visiting professional commented, "I'm here all the time and, without exception, I see how caring the staff are.

I can confidently say they love the residents in the way they interact with them.
