Nazareth House - Lancaster

Nazareth House accommodates up to 43 people requiring personal care across four floors, with 39 residents living there at the time of inspection. Each person has a single room with en-suite facilities.

People received medicines as prescribed by healthcare professionals. Some practices around medicinal cream use and stock holding required minor adjustments, which were addressed during the inspection. Staff demonstrated competence with safeguarding processes and knew how to protect residents from abuse. People were safe and protected from harm, with risks appropriately identified, assessed and managed. Appropriate safety checks had been completed for staff working with vulnerable people.
