The Glen Care Home

The Glen Care Home Morecambe accommodates up to 70 people, including those living with dementia, across two nursing units. At inspection, 63 residents were living there. The home provides personal care and nursing care as a single package.

The provider demonstrated good practice by using COVID-19 funding to create dedicated visiting areas, which enabled people to maintain regular contact with family and friends during the pandemic. The provider also ensured that information and guidance were consistently understood and embedded across its group of homes, helping keep the registered manager and staff up to date with current best practice and regulatory requirements.
